TERMS
Unique Art Exports is an Export Company operating out of India selling “to the trade only”. Each piece of furniture is made to order. To place an order, please let us know your requirement by post, fax or email and we will confirm your order detailing your furniture, price and expected delivery date. We usually work on any of the following payment options:

a) Confirmed, Irrevocable Letter of Credit ( LC ) at sight drawn on a First Class Bank. The LC should inter-alia permit part-shipment and alterations should be allowable OR

b) Along with a wire transfer of an advance payment of 50% of the Performa Invoice value. The balance will be invoiced upon
shipping on Documents against Payment at sight ( DP ) basis .

PRICES
We reserve the right to alter our prices at any time prior to acceptance of an order. Prices do not include export shipping, taxes or import/ export duties.

MINIMUMS & DELIVERIES
An Order should be at least equivalent to a container load ( 20' or 40') and in multiples thereof. Normal delivery lead-time is 8-12 weeks ex Jodhpur, India. For accessories we would need a minimum order of 50 pieces per item. For larger items, we allow up to 6
different SKUs in a 40' container.

CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
Since we make to order, all orders are final. No variation in the order will be binding on us unless the same has been agreed to in writing.

PACKING

FURNITURE
The wooden range is packed using corrugated sheet with stiffs on the corners and edges prone to damage in transit. They are then bubble-wrapped for added protection. We can also provide corrugated box packing or any other special packing to meet specific needs at additional costs.

ACCESSORIES
Accessories are put into plastic slips after which they are bubble wrapped or packed using corrugated sheets. They are then suitably consolidated into manageable packages.

SHIPPING
We can arrange delivery to any destination by air or sea. Usually the items are shipped through a Container Liner on Freight Collect basis. If you enjoy a preferential rate on any liner, please let us know. We will gladly use whomever you prefer. Containers need to be made available for stuffing at Jodhpur unless otherwise specified. We will not be responsible for any damage to the goods in transit. We suggest you take a transit insurance cover for the merchandise.

BREAKAGE, LOSS OR DAMAGE
All furniture leaves our workshop fully constructed, finished, ready for use and packed for shipping. Merchandise is inspected and carefully packed before leaving our warehouses. We will gladly accommodate a request for inspection of the merchandise prior to its dispatch on a mutually convenient date. We cannot accept responsibility for the damage or loss in transit. The claims for merchandise delivered broken or damaged or undelivered must be reported directly to the Carrier
